Oli 9 birthday

I took Oli and his friends for "mans ride". Oh it was so much fun. It is amazing Force when you have 6 boys in this age on one place. I have enjoyed every part of it. These are Oli's friends mainly from school that he will not continue next year. We praise God that for Oli moving away from these friends is not a big issue anymore.
We are thankful to GOD for Oliver and his life. We praise God that Oli belong to Him.

First FUSION training

This weekend has been really full. At the weekend I have learned a lot of details on how to lead this ministry tool. The good thing was that my Zuzka was there and we could pray more about her involvement in this first local Fusion but as well as her national TCK FUSION involvement as assistant. Within the Banska BYstrica team I have met DADA. She is 16 but very capable and enthusiastic to be involved in Fusion.

We need wisdom in the distribution of the roles

We will start this training in 3 days on Friday till Sunday evening and we will be learning how to do this effectively so that teenagers comes and find Christ.

Our HOUSE? Not yet.

Earlyer in the month we have told you that there is a possibility on buying the house. We have prayied we have fasted we have been asking, knocking, and searching and we see a path for us. The house that after so much looking and searching and asking we felt that God would bring something in our way without our looking. AND He did. Just after one week of us just praying and waiting a man from the church where we are moving in to, have invited a "Painter" man to paint the church interior building. As Slavo the pastor who is also my cousin have disscused life with him he mentioned that we have been looking for a place to live in and he replyied well "we are selling the house". Imediately we

While Zuzka went to enjoy the company with her girlfriends to Czech republic I went to enjoy time with our kids.

Zuzka the Physiotherapist

Physiotherapists treat patients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury, disability or ageing.
Zuzka has one month of practical experience at our local hospital to complete her first year of study for the Physiotherapist. She goes to the hospital at 8:00 and returns at 2:00 afternoon. Her exams are going well.

VYHNE - Levice team weekend

Thankyou for your prayers. This weekend was very good. Levice team has 10 members (Rasťo, Tomáš, Zuzka, Milan, Roman, Miška, Karin, Čilip, Magda and Simi)
It was the time for encouragement, good fellowship, prayer, laughther and walks in the nature...
I am so privileged to be part of what is God doing with this team. This is going to be their 4th year doing English evnagelistic converastional camp. and This year they are having 3rd set of leaders. Those who didnt even dream 4 years that they will be leading it they certainly do lead and it is so sweet to experience this.

Weekend with Levice KECY team

Levice KECY (english camp for unbelivers) team have invited me to spent 24 hours challenging them and ispriring them for the summer time.

Pray for today and tomorrow time for listening what GOD is saying and preparing for the summer.
Pray for 10 of us spending time together.
I will be speaking Today and tomorrow may it be Gods Spirit speaking not me.

Please pray also for the wisdom over the Loan we are just about to take for our next phase of our life plus for the selling of our flat. Yesterday we learned that the owner of the house is willing to go down with the price some from 120 thousand eur to 115 and maybe even to 110. But so just that we would have enough peace to take loan for 40 thousand eur which will take us 20 years to return. Every month 260 eur and on the end of 20 years we will return 64 thousand eur to the bank.

This is TCKompas team for this summer. We were saying "see you in 6 months" to Sheppersons as their 10 year commitment ended and needed to go back to US with the desire to come back and continue the call for Slovakia.

We need your prayers

 

We are facing a “roadblock” from the largest denomination that we do 80% of our ministry within Slovakia. We as the leadership have already meet with the three bishops to discuss this situation furthera and had great open disscusion but still there is much of accusation and lies being publicly addresed towards us.

We’ve been called by God to start a new ministry called EXIT, which will allow us to reach the entire nation for God through a television show that Josiah Venture created and used in the Czech Republic, successfully.

EXIT Ministry consists of three parts. The first is EXIT 316, a television show, which will be housed on an Internet social media platform that will discuss issues related to teenagers. In the show, they discuss a topic, like grace, invite a Slovak celebrity to share a story, show a music video also related to the topic, and in the end has a Slovak Christian leader share God’s truth about the topic.

This in turns allows youth groups to have small groups through the second part, EXIT Turbo. After watching the episode, youth groups can then lead a small group discussion with students that lead them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

The last part is, EXIT Tour which invites an American Band like, Dizmas, to partner with local churches in one city, and allows them to enter the school to perform and offer preventative seminars like sex, drugs, Aids, etc. At the end of the week, the band provides a free concert where the Gospel is presented allowing the youth groups to follow up with the students and start small groups with them.

Our ministry team is focused on equipping youth leaders to fulfill Christ’s commission to reach this generation of Slovak youth that finds their home in the local church and transforms society.

Will you join us in praying for this important meeting? Pray specifically for both sides to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and focused on God’s will and desire for Slovakia. And most important that Gods kingdom would not suffer.

Fusion presentation in Banska Bystrica

Yesterday we have been presenting FUSION ministry at Cirkev Bratska in Banska Bystrica.

In the service Josh Howard (our new missionary that will work with me on the natinal fusion) and My family were introduced as the ones who are comming to help with this ministry in their church. As the answer of this churches prayers. We have had 50 minutes to present the FUSION.
I started with the passage on great commision from Mathew 28:18-20 and ended Mathew 9:9-13 as the motivational preaching and than we took turns on explaining the pieces of Fusion.
After church ended we had "only members" meeting and explained more in details and had question and answers time. There where good questions for some no answers... like who will be another 2 memebers (except Draho) of the leading team. They decided after few another questions about timings and "rushing" but also understanding the right time in to united decision that church sees this direction as the answer from God for this church. The lack of workers is just the matter of 3-6 weeks and that if we do not have enough workers now then we might start Fusion in Januarry 2012.
On their voting (cca 27 people out of 48 BB mamebers) all voted FOR Fusion in thier church. No one against.
I already have 3 people for first training that will be in czech 24-26 june. This week I need to work on more people to be able to attend the training even if they will just be volunteers.
So this is all good news and this has been just another moment of "aprooval" that God is leading us in this way.

We also looked the house in Salkova (BB) and we feel with Zuzka that it is the right place to be moving twards. This house is for sale with the property of 800 square meeters and it has great potential. The house is old as I (37) and is in good condition. We could start living in even right now but needs some work to adjust for our needs. Well the main part that we are praying now is the price. They ask for 120.000 EUR. We could get around 80.000 EUR for our flat but we are short of 40.000 EUR plus 15.000 extra for new windows, floors, kitchen, bathrooms etc... This house came after us looking for flats and apartments and many visits and frustration where we decided that we will stop searching "it" but will wait that God would send something in our way. After fast and prayer God has sent one man to paint the CB BB church as he is a friend of one of the peopole from that church and Slavo the pastor found out that he is selling the house. So that is the house we have been looking at. (If you have questions ask me more) We are praying and have to make decission till this wednesday (8. june) then there are a lot of other people who wold like to buy it even for the price of 145.000 EUR.

We did went to BB a day before Sunday and the main reason was that Johanka would meet all her new school friends and her teacher as she will start in her first grade at Narnina elementary school.

So these are some news from this past weekend.
Pray for the workers in CB BB church. Specificaly for 2 main leaders.
Pray for the rest of the church in entering as needed voluntaries
Pray for the house decision, the wisdom in understanding Gods leading. And to see how would God want to provide for this need.
