We've spent this weekend /sept 20-21/ in a training mode. Yes, Fusion family is getting bigger. Senec is on board!!! There is a need for equipping, listening and encouraging. I believe that I can write on behalf of whole Fusion Slovakia that it's a pleasure for us to observe this team and their hearts. My strongest experience from yesterday was how we sought God's will and instead of praying for successful Fusion we prayed for the lost young generation in this city! 

We worked hard, ate, sipped coffee, we were serious, we laughed.

 We also took few students with us on this training and they helped with bringing real life stories connected with FUSION.

New fusion start at SENEC

Dear prayer warriors, I want to let you know that after few visits to Senec, after the Exit tour (my last post), we are having 1st. training for their leadership team. THIS is our 3rd church within last 2 years of this ministry in Slovakia.
There will be some 20 people also from our existing fusions in Banska Bystrica and Bratislava and of course our FUSION SK team.
Please pray especially for Senec team that they are open and ready to hear the HOW of this specific ministry.
We start tomorow Friday and finish on Saturday evening.

As you can see on the map there is Fusion in Prešov starting in 2014. Please pray that the time between now and summer 2014 is time of creating the team and that church would be ready to welcome lost teenagers in their not only fellowship but also lives.

Exit TOUR in Senec - SK

The goal of EXIT Tour is to help schools provide lectures about the problems teenagers face daily, how to live a healthy lifestyle and to share true life values. The good news message about salvation is also clearly extended. 



EXIT Tour is a weeklong program designed for high schools in a particular city that involves mini concerts of English band Faith Child, as well as quality lectures of experienced and professional speakers from Germany, Czech, US and Slovakia. The lectures focus on different prevention areas, such as sex, drugs, alcohol, love, family, community etc. This time in Senec we (Darina, Josh, Mark and Amy and Draho) as FUSION have had our presentations as well.


During the EXIT Tour week in a city, there are three to four schools hosting the program, different afternoon activities for the students organized by local churches, and a Friday concert for approximately 600 to 800 hundred people with clear invitation to the Gospel message. The key element for EXIT Tour is cooperation among local youth groups that follow up with students at so called EXIT clubs.

Search and Rescue

KPM 2013 in Žilina, Slovakia

It was a rainy Friday in Žilina, Slovakia, but that did not deter 342 students from going out into the city, onto the trains, and into the villages to Search for those who were lost and offer to them the way to be Rescued. "Search and Rescue" was the theme of this year's KPM, the annual Slovak youth leaders' training conference put on by JV Slovakia's KOMPAS team. The conference was a time of training these leaders to be bold in sharing their faith, and as part of the training, they were given the chance to put into practice everything they were learning. Here is a video of that day when the participants in the conference were sent out in teams to share the Gospel with people all around the city and nearby villages.

This year's conference was special because we had 20th anniversary - praise God.

Another reason why it was special was because I had my 39th birthday celebration through it.

And one more reason was that my son Oliver helped me lead worship on the final day of our conference. I cant even explain the feeling but it is very deep sense of thankfulness.

Dear friends,
Long time no word. There is a lot great happen so much that I have not had even time to share it. Thankyou for praying and giving faithfully.
I am back and propose you to pray for us. The reason is our training of our two existing Fusion teams. We are also having two new churches observing it and searching the possibility of starting Fusion ministry in their church.

So here it is Tommorow 15th at 18:00 local time we will start our training and end next day in the evening.

First Bratislava FUSION rehersal

Just Returned from first Fusion Rehearsal in Bratislava (our second Fusion).
My heart is rejoicing. We have had 24 students and there was a great energy among them. The bratislava team have done great job to meet students and offer them a new place of belonging. We even had police stop by to check out the "noise" (one of the neighbour invited them) but have soon left after they saw a great thing going on.
When Gods people obeys Gods desires things might get complicated as well but it is also great indication that we are doing right thing. I was reminded again that we do have authority over enemy and we should stand up in the name of Jesus Christ remind him of victory we have in Christ.

Going in to the word of GOD using Exit 316 materials

We had our first Fusion - Exit meeting today. There were three girl-students and two girl-leaders :). At first we watched the first EXIT movie. It dealt with the question whether there is another world beyond what we can see physically - a spiritual one. We all agree there is. Then we decided to spend some more time together at McDonalds. We had a lot of fun and I think it helped our friendship, too.

This was our first bible study with our Fusion friends in Banska Bystrica.

Dnes sme mali prvé stretnutie Fusion - Exit. Stretli sme sa dve vedúce a tri dievčatá. Na začiatku sme si pozreli prvý diel seriálu EXIT. Zaoberal sa otázkou, či existuje aj iný svet ako ten, ktorý dokážeme zmyslovo vnímať - duchovný svet. Všetky sa zhodujeme v tom, že existuje. Potom sme sa rozhodli presunúť spoločne do McDonaldu. Dobre sme sa zabavili a myslím, že to znova posilnilo i naše priateľstvo.

Toto bolo naše prvé oficiálne Biblické štúdium s našimi priateľmi z Fusion Banská Bystrica.

These are exciting days. We see another church launch their FUSION with the students that came to camp. It is amazing how much they are drawn to come not only for the concert but also to youth group. For me it was also special as at the concert I could introduce the whole vision and the big picture of what is God doing through this ministry.
We even had Jano the piano player from our BB fusion with us as they needed his help in playing 3 songs at the concert.
Students are comming and experiencing the change and the church mobilized to serve.
Well this is why I love to do it is HIS work.

Our first Fusion in the new school year - Meeting of friends

Today we had the first Fusion of the New ministry year, it was great to see so many old and new faces. We had 27 students tonight and all of them were excited and full of energy! It was such a blessing to see so many students back and so many new students. We were also meeting in our new room! It is such a blessing already to have our own Fusion room were we can make a home. Please pray for this year, for leaders and for the students!

If you count well you can count around 9 BOYS. This is miracle.

Just few days before Summer camps start

It is the time to be fasting and praying and get ready for winning children of God.

Oh I have not imagined how difficult it would be to start new team that would lead a summer camp that have not been part of such team before.

Oh and to get students for or Fusion camp is so difficult. Battling for each individual person.

We recognized that the price of 93 EUR for this area for a week of camp is not affordable for most of them. We have tryied to contact the city hall for sponsorship but have got reply that there are no money for such activities. We praise God for those who supported few of the students already. Most of kids that will be going with us to the camp (13 at the present but praying for 20) are comming from very poor families, where there is only mother to take care for 2-3 children. 

But I believe when the word will be spoken about the prodigal son each evening that their hearts will be opened to receive Gods love. Pray with us.

Please pray also for my team of 10 people which is now only 8 because enemy is not at sleep and active to give life situations that are taking them off the service. But pray maybe God wants to call out some new people to this role.

Womans Conference

Zuzka and their team have put together 10th womans conference and the topic of this one is "YOU, HERE and NOW" according the Ester 4:14.
It is great how God is using this conference to encourage and lead woman (around 140 of them) to the freedom living in Him and for Him the place He has put them.
This has started yesterday and continues till tommorow.
I am helping leading the worship and do all the tech. stuff.

"I like here I will come to your church from now."

This is the sentence of one of the boys that has been comming to Fusion for the last few months. We started to hang out and get to know each other and yesterday after the rehersal he didnt have anything to do so he came with me to pick up something from our church. As we played on instruments and about the church and worship on Sundays he just said "I like here I will come to your church from now."
I said AMEN.
This is the sentence I have been longing to hear for the last 6 monts. And God did it.
Praise GOd with us. THis is so exciting.
Pray for me and other leaders in the team so we keep up good descipleship with this precious people.
TO the GLORY of GOD.

Is anyone affraid?

Just before getting up the stage to sing with our great Fusion students this Sunday I have asked: "Is anyone afraid?" Few hands went up so I suggested prayer. And we pray for the first time together as a group.
We have got this opportunity to sing at the city's biggest event to celebrate family day. It was sweet time together. What is important for our students is being together and doing things together. I praise God for this opportunity to live life with those in need.

    This Friday we had our first big concert with Exit tour where we sang to over 200 people!  We were the opening band for Divine Attraction (an American rock group).  This concert was a great opportunity for our students to perform and also for Fusion to get it’s name out in the city.  It was also an opportunity for our students to hear the gospel as it was presented at the concert.

We spent this Sunday evening with some of the students from Fusion.  You may ask yourself, Don’t you have Fusion on Wednesday?  Yes, we had a special activity this Sunday with the Fusion students.  We had a game night at the church where we played some games together and others in separate smaller groups.  This was a great opportunity for a number of reasons.  One we were able to spend more time getting to know each other and building the community more.  The second important thing was that this was the first time that we actually invited students to the church building, so it was in a way a feeling out the reaction of students to being in a church.  It seemed to go well.  Finally it was an opportunity for the church congregation to also get involved a little in Fusion and to see what we do.  

Fusion - "my new family"

This new girl told me that she do not see her parents often as they are gone most of the time and her half-brother is now 3rd year at this special place where he is trying to get clean of the drugs. So I have asked what are you doing through the day when there is nobody at home? Well she said "I am searching for families, and I found Fusion my new family". Praise GOD for that. Tonight we had 23 students!  It was awesome!  We have not had this many students since the second week of Fusion.  It was also a good night of fun.  One of the major things I noticed was that many of the students who weren’t friends before are now starting to talk and be friendly with each other.  It is great to see this community!  God is present in this program and it is very obvious!  We also begin Workshops this week and they seem to be going well and even more students want to join now!  We are so excited!
My Zuzka was speaking tonight about the Love and how we can have assurance and belonging because God loved us so much that He gave His most precious child to express His love and our importance. And that love thy can also experience if they want to.

Fusion go for more

Tonight we had an activity outside our normal Fusion activity.  We were able to use a gym at one of the schools here and had an open gym.  We played three games and really had a great turn out.  I think most of the students who are coming to Fusion were there.  We are thrilled that the students want to be so involved that they are coming to even more activities.  It is also great to see relationships starting to grow and hopefully there will begin to be conversations happening about Christ!

We have started with workshops and we look forward to seeing students play at the meetings.

Please Pray for:

- March Fusion Tour with another Fusion group from Czech republic. We need to find schools that would be interested in sending their students to this concert or even host this concert in their school.

- End of February we are expecting for new missionary family joining Fusion Slovakia. Pray for Chases family as they are transitioning to Slovakia. They will serve Fusion in Bratislava.

- 1st. Fusion Camp in first week of July in Banska Bystrica. For our slovak camp team and the team from the Denmark. And especially the students that will come to our camp.

- 2nd. Fusion camp the fourth week of July in Bratislava. We do not have US team yet to come for the camp and the local team is being only formed now.

- Tonight at Fusion my Zuzka is having 10 minutes talk about life with God. You can pray on every Wednesday when we have our rehersals.

Next Youth Workers conference in 82 days

This is the look and title of our next conference.
We call it "hop on". We have meet with a lot of youth leaders in our country to find out most needed issue among them. And we found out that they need to know who is Jesus and how He served. And so we inviting youth leaders around 700 of them to come and "hop on" and have ride with Jesus, because He is doing something and we just need to join Him.
It was my honour to invite you to pray for this comming event.

Today is our First FUSION concert

We hope that today through the concert we will see new students come to start being part of FUSION, also that some parents will come and officially agree with their children coming to FUSION. We also pray that those who have been coming for last 5 times will become the core of FUSION for coming months. We also pray that GODs Spirit will work tonight and that through FUSION there would be changed lives for eternity.
